Whilst planning to organise a Royal Exhibition in 2007 to commemorate the Birthday of the Highness. I had the opportunity to visit the Royal Highness in the Palace and His personal office in Kuala Lumpur City. His Royal Highness has a wonderful collection on "Selangor" with many philatelic gems NOT been seen anywhere. It was indeed a great honour to chat with the Royal Highness who was friendly and casual in the meeting.

2007年在策划主办一个皇室邮展的时候，我有机会步入雪州苏丹的皇宫和殿下位于吉隆坡的私人办事处。苏丹本身是个热衷集邮的爱好者，殿下的“雪兰莪”邮集可是当今最佳的一部雪兰莪邮史邮集，其中许多的雪兰莪珍邮是集邮者所没见过的。 能够和殿下如此近距离的侃谈集邮，真是荣幸。

DYMM Sultan of Selangor is the Patron for the Philatelic Society Malaysia, and a special Royal Philatelic Exhibition was planned to be held @ the Palace. It was towards the end of the year of 2007, when a group of us visited the Palace. Well, a tall Christmas Tree placed in the centre lounge caught my attention, the Christmas Season was just around the corner. The Royal Philatelic Exhibition was a special exhibition probably I could see once of my lifetime, DYMM Sultan displayed his RARE collection of  "Selangor".

雪兰莪苏丹是马来西亚集邮协会的荣誉赞助人，2007 年为了主办一项苏丹殿下的皇室个人邮展，我们一行人有机会走进了皇宫。2007筹办邮展时是年尾时节，皇宫正厅处摆放的一棵大圣诞树吸引了我的注意，圣诞节就将来临了。 苏丹所收集的“雪兰莪”是一部完整的邮集，珍邮价值连城，有幸能在这一次皇室邮展中看到这一部珍邮。

2007 ： DYMM Sultan of Selangor is a keen stamp collector, and it is known that the BEST "Selangor" stamp collection is in his possession. As the Philatelic Society Malaysia was planning to hold a Philatelic Exhibition and to invite the DYMM Sultan of Selangor to be a Royal Patron of the Society, the key members of the Philatelic Society Malaysia would have to meet up the Sultan in several occassions. Finally a Royal Exhibition which showcased the Sultan's Collection was materialised at the Istana Kuala Lumpur. Glad to visit a Royal Palace and had the opportunity to meet up Sultan personally listening to the many stories relating to his hobbies and collections. Of course, a tour around the Palace was truly an exciting experience in life.

雪兰莪州苏丹是一位知名的集邮爱好君王，殿下所收集的“雪兰莪”可是当今最齐全，也是最珍贵的一部“雪兰莪”邮集。马来西亚集邮协会为了邀请雪州苏丹为协会的皇室赞助人，因此有多个机会和雪州苏丹轻松的接触。真没想到殿下应允举办一个殿下个人的皇室邮展，展出几部殿下珍藏的邮集，让我们真是大饱眼福。由于保安问题，殿下个人展也只能在吉隆坡行宫内举行，我等也有几次进入皇宫考察的机会，更有多次与殿下私下轻松的会面。与雪州苏丹的会面可是集邮这么多年来一次难得的宝贵经验。
