2010 ： The Wild Monkeys around the Kuala Selangor Lighthouse Park 一大群野猴子聚居在瓜雪灯塔森林保护区

2010 ：A trip to Kuala Selangor Post Office seeking for postmark 瓜雪邮政局求戳记

登上瓜拉雪兰莪镇中心的瓜雪公园，山顶是遥望马六甲海峡的瓜雪灯塔。 山上保护区聚居着一群野猴子，数目很多。走在路上猴子会扑上来要求游客递送食物。猴子手脚灵活，稍不注意会偷取身边的东西。 眼前给它们拍照的相机就是差点让这些”马骝“ 给抢了去。

Took a stroll from the town centre of Kuala Selangor up to the Kuala Selangor Hill Park where the Lighthouse locates, there were groups of these monkeys extending their quick responsive hands and legs for foods from the tourists. Whilst I was taking photos on these active monkeys, one naughty monkey was about to snatch my camera.

2010 : Kuala Selangor Bukit Belimbing Fire Park Resort 瓜拉雪兰莪萤火虫度假村

It was the "Malaysia Firefly" stamp issue that drove me to the Kuala Selangor Bukit Belimbing Fire Park Resort. For years, I have heard of this so called home of the Malaysia Firelies, however, I had NOT visited this place. Since, I had to realise Maximum Cards at the Kuala Selangor Post Office, I could make a detour to have a visit to this resort which was a few kilometers away from the town.

“马来西亚萤火虫”邮票把我牵引到瓜拉雪兰莪萤火虫村一游，乘到瓜雪邮局盖戳时，我顺道驱车前往这一个闻名我国的萤火虫度假村。虽然从小学书籍里就读到这一个地方，然而平生却是第一次来造访。

2010 : A detour to Sekinchan Paddy Fields on the trip to K.Selangor PO 去瓜雪邮局求戳转道游览实耕庄稻田

 

2010 ： Sekinchan 实耕庄

Before marrying to me, my wife had been a Kindergarten Teacher for the Methodist Church Sekinchan for a while. She had been describing to me that she used to stroll on the vast Paddy fields in the evening watching the beautiful sunset. I needed to realise some Maximum cards of the Malaysian fireflies at Kuala Selangor PO. She followed me on the trip and we planned to visit Sekinchan after I had completed my mission to K.Selangor PO .  She recalled during the time she had to take a ferry to cross the K.Selangor river for tranferring  a taxi to Sekinchan. Now a bridge had been constructed over the river. 

Sekinchan is described as the home for "rice and seafood" and really it is .... Vast paddy fields, Jetty markets and restaurants selling fresh seafood. Finally, We stopped at the Methodist Kindergarten where my wife had been teaching in the past ....

在结婚之前，太太曾有一段时期在实耕庄卫理公会教幼稚园。她曾描述在宽阔的稻田里漫步，观赏日落的美景。 这一次，逢我要去瓜雪邮局求盖萤火虫极限片，她提议随行，因此我们就来到了有“鱼米之乡”的实耕庄。听太太说以前要到实耕庄必须乘渡轮越过瓜雪河到对岸转乘的士到实耕庄，现在河上已经架起桥梁，交通方便多了。 实耕庄果真是个“鱼米之乡”，大片稻田，码头与餐馆都有新鲜的海鲜供应。 最后我们停在多年前她执教的卫理公会幼稚园前 。。。

2007 : Honour to visit KL Palace of the HRH Sultan Selangor 荣幸能够进入雪州苏丹殿下的吉隆坡皇宫

2007 ：Royal Patron Philatelic Exhibition  皇家邮展 2007 ：

As HRH the Sultan of Selangor is the Royal Patron of the Philatelic Society Malaysia, a Royal Exhibition was proposed in the year 2007 to establish a closer relationship between the Royal and the Society. During the organisation of a unique exhibition in the Royal Palace, I was honour to have the opportunity to travel to the Kuala Lumpur Royal Palace to inspect the venue, to get preparation and set up of the exhibiting frames. I had the opportunity of chatting personally with His Highness. His Highness is a man with several interests and philately is one of his greatest hobby. Above is a picture taken in the Palace, in front of a Portrait of  His Highness.

雪州苏丹殿下是马来西亚集邮学会荣誉赞助人，为了加强殿下与集邮理事会的关系，一项皇家集邮展的建议获得苏丹殿下的认可。 在准备邮展的当时，我有机会出入吉隆坡皇宫数会，勘察场地，准备框架等等。 也同时与苏丹有了几次的近距离接触。苏丹本人是个拥有多项嗜好的君主。以上的相片是在宫中一个角落，苏丹殿下个人画像前拍的。

2010 ：

乘着到瓜雪邮政局制作“萤火虫”极限片之际，我登上瓜雪公园山来到著名的地标 - 瓜雪灯塔。

I made a visit to Kuala Selangor Post Office to realise my "Fireflies" Maximum Card . I walked up to the Kuala Selangor Park and came to the front of the famous lighthouse overlooking the sea.

2010 ： Malaysia new stamp issue - Firefly 马来西亚新邮 - 萤火虫

为了制作萤火虫极限片，我有意驱车远到百里外的瓜拉雪兰莪求戳去，太太担心我远途驱车劳累坚持陪我一程。 瓜雪邮局不难找，就在大街上。 制作极限片也很顺利。 既然来到瓜雪，我俩也顺到丹绒加弄和适耕庄走一回。

In order to realise maximum cards for the  "Malaysia Firefly", I had decided to make a trip to Kuala Selangor - the home of the fireflies, to have my cards postmarked. My wife insisted to accompany me for the trip, it was NOT difficult to locate the post office which is situated right in the town. Since we were at Kuala Selangor, we travelled to the nearby towns of Tanjung Karang and Sekinchan to make a visit of a life time.
