Luoyang was an important ancient city on the beginning of the silk route, hence, it is a city with many historical relics. Just before the opening of the World Philatelic Exhibition, we made a trip to the nearby museum to take a walk into the past of Luoyang, one particular museum attracted me - the museum of the ancient tombs. We made our way into the underground tomb, exploring and experiencing an actual scenario of a burial ground of the dead, underground atmosphere was cool, dark and scary.  An ancient stone coffin was one of the key display in the underground chamber ...

2009洛阳世展开幕前一天，乘有空档时间，和马来西亚几个同僚到洛阳周边景点逛逛。 洛阳城是个古代城市，处于丝绸之路的起点，所以这一个城市到处都有古迹的踪影。 我们选择去参观洛阳城的古墓博物馆，亲身步入地下的古墓展览区， 一片凉意，感觉湿气度很高，真有点阴森的感觉。 展览区的重点是一副保存完整的石棺 。。。

2009 ： Luoyang World Philatelic Exhibition 洛阳世界邮展

Red lanterns and banners decorated the surroundings of the newly completed Luoyang National Museum. Before it was used as a museum, it was temporary converted to an exhibition avenue for the World Philatelic Exhibition. It was a carnival atmosphere at every corner of Luoyang. The National Museum was an ideal place for the world stamp exhibition to be held with several large display halls,  seminar and conference rooms, restaurants etc.,

红彤彤的灯笼与邮展布条挂满了世展场地的四方，新落成的洛阳国家博物馆暂时充作世界邮展场地。 这一座馆中有好几个大型展览馆，会议厅，也有餐厅设备，是一所理想的展览厅。从洛阳城到博物院有几公里的路程，到处都是一片旗海，巨型海报提供世界邮展的信息。洛阳正处于一个嘉年华会的日子。
