在东京河游艇上看到一则 “May Peace Prevail On Earth" 横幅高挂游艇的出入口处, 祈愿世界和平。 这一个世纪，四处动乱，对这一则祈愿特有感受，真希望这世界到处和平。

2011 ：Philanippon , Yokohama, Japan 日本世界邮展，横滨

This was the first time Japan held a world exhibition away from Tokyo. This gave the delegates an opportunity to visit the harbour city of Yokohama. The official hotel was InterContinental Grand which is located within walking distance to the Exhibition Hall. There are many shopping centres in the vicinity, including the Tallest Building in Japan, the Landmark Tower shopping complex. Visitors are able to pay a fee to get up to the observatory platform of the Landmark Tower to have a panaromic view of the Yokohama City.

Glad to meet up with the former Chairman of the FIP Maximaphily Commission, Mr. Nicos Rangos from Cyprus. We had a chat on the recent development on Maximaphily and most concern on the issue of the treatment of FIP on this particular class of philately.

又再一次与塞浦路斯的尼克斯。朗格斯国际集邮展会上会面。 日本2011邮展里，我们畅谈了极限集邮的发展并关注极限集邮在FIP里的处在地位，交换了宝贵的意见。

On board of the JAL flight from KLIA @ 11.00pm ,25th July, 2011 .. arrived at Narita Airport, Tokyo at 7.25am, 26th July, 2011.  The travel agent staff of the Philanippon 2011 was at the airport to receive us ( I have my daughter and her fiancee coming together on this trip. ) We were transported to Yokohama YCAT bus terminal by airport limousine. It took one and half hours from Narita airport to the YCAT terminal. From the YCAT terminal, we were brought to the official hotel @ InterContinental Grand situated right at the heart of the YOKOHAMA city centre. Annexed to the hotel, there are several shopping complexes and Philanippon 2011 flyers and banners were seen hung on poles and walls everywhere in the public places. 

乘日航JL724夜班机，7月25日晚上由KLIA直航，7月26日清晨7：25抵达东京成田机场。日本横滨国际切手展工作人员已经在出关处迎接我们。（这一趟邮展，女儿和未婚夫陪行）。 我们乘搭主办当局安排的快速旅巴直达横滨巴士中心，再转乘德士到 INTER-CONTINENTAL Grand酒店。抵达后看到周围的展览中心和购物中心都有明显的Philanippon2011广告布条在飘扬。

Philanippon 2011 is yet another world philatelic event where I am able to meet up with many familiar faces throughout the world. Although the judging task is hectic with burden, however, everyone enjoys the fellowship of getting together chatting away with the great hobby of Philately.
2011日本世界邮展是日本每10年才举办一次的世界级盛会，前2届分别在2001与1991年举办。2011世界邮展又让我有机会和一些来自世界各国的同僚聚会。评审工作虽然繁重，然而每一位都能因为集邮相聚而感觉高兴。

Philanippon 2011 - A threat from the Fukoshima Nuclear Power Plant radiation leak? 我在关心日本福岛核泄漏事故会否影响 Philanippon 2011 的主办 ？

The incident of the Radiation leak of the Fukoshima Nuclear Power Plant is yet to be resolved, philatelic friends intending to visit Philanippon 2011 cannot refrain from the conversion on the subject of the affect of the radiation on the hosting city of Yokohama. A press release by the organiser of Philanippon 2011 reviews that Yokohama is situated at 252 km from the problem power plant, which is deemed to be safe from radiation. The assurance from the organiser clears the doubts and worries of the many stamp collectors who will be visiting Yokohama in this July. I am one invited to be Jury member is ready for the show.

日本福岛核电厂核泄事故或多或少影响了一些本来有意在今年7月间到横滨参观10年一度的世界邮票展览，一些打了退堂鼓。主办当局发出了声明指福岛核电厂离横滨252km，几乎不受核泄的影响，安定了许多集邮人焦虑的心。受邀担当评审的我，期待 Philanippon 2011 ，一个和以往不一样心情的邮展之旅。

Received an invitation from the Philanippon 2011 organiser to be a member of the Jury Team of the World Philatelic Exhibition Event held at Yokohama port city, Japan from 28 July - 2 August, 2011. This event was planned 3 years ago, unfortunately, an earthquake of magnitude 9.0 hit the Eastern Coastal areas of  Japan on the 11th March, 2011 , triggered a destructive tsunami wiping out a few major cities of the Eastern Coast. Worst news was the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant was damaged causing leakage of the harmful radioactive radiation. Although, Japan government had tried tirelessly to salvage the Nuclear Plant from the problem of the leakage of radioactive radiation BUT in vain. Radioactive radiation leakage is a BIG concern to everyone traveling to Japan at this moment. When I first received the invitation from Philanippon 2011 in April, I was hesitating to accept or to reject the offer. It was really hard to make a firm decision. I have NOT been to Yokohama, and will like to make a visit to the beautiful city. I finally prayed to the GOD to seek for a decision making, I penned a reply to Philanippon 2011 by saying Yes, Yokohama!  I shall be to resume my duty by reporting to Philanippon 2011 on the 26th July, 2011.

2011年4月份收到Philanippon 2011日本世界邮票展览主办当局的邀请函，出任邮展评审一职。这一邮界盛事早在3年前已经着手筹办，一场311地震引发了灾难性的海啸给主办当局带来了影响，尤其福岛核电站的辐射泄漏问题，抢救了已有2个月，进展不大，核泄漏问题的确叫所有有意在Philanippon 2011期间到日本观展的集邮者纷纷却步了。 虽然高兴收到Philanippon 2011的邀请函然而心里难免犹疑是否接纳有关盛情的邀约呢？ 我唯有祷告让上帝给我作出有关的决定。我终于写下了回函向Philappon 2011说“OK, Yokohama 见！”。2011年7月26日我将搭上日航班机到Philanippon 2011 履行任务。
